Meet Soorajith & Rejitha

Twenty years in corporate India. Then a decision to come back — not just to Wayanad, but to the land, the quiet, and a way of life the city had slowly buried.

Rejitha, an architect by training, designed every corner of Aalterra herself — laterite, timber, natural materials, buildings that sit within the hillside rather than imposed on it.

Soorajith brought the warmth of someone who genuinely believes a stranger deserves to feel at home. He built Aalterra around a simple conviction: that Wayanad’s greatest offering isn’t a view or an amenity — it’s the feeling of belonging to a place.

Together, they didn’t just build a resort beside a farm — they built a life around one. Pepper vines, paddy fields, banana groves, a pond that catches the morning mist. The farm isn’t a backdrop. It’s the reason everything here exists.

That feeling is still what you walk into.
